Question. In what things do you think that our Sanctification consists?
Answer. First, we are by His divine inspiration born again, and therefore Christ said that we must be born again of water and the Spirit. Also by His heavenly breathing on us, God the Father chooses and adopts us to be His children, and therefore he is worthily called “The Spirit of adoption”, who is in our hearts as the seal of our election, persuading and assuring us, that God’s benefits through Christ are ours.
