Question. Is Christ no longer with us on earth? He himself told his apostles beforehand that they would not always have him with them. This should be understood as referring to his bodily presence.
Answer. As God, whose divine nature fills all things, he has always been in heaven and present everywhere. And through his Spirit, he is always present with his Church on earth and will remain with it until the end of the world.
